Massimo Fedeli, Managing Director of Ferrari UK Ltd has said of the programme: "This is a unique opportunity for the right young person who is determined to work hard and join the elite of Britain's automotive technicians. Ferrari and Maserati are committed to providing the support and guidance that will enable them to pursue a lifelong career in this fascinating industry".
Competition for places will no doubt be tough. Indeed, only 14 candidates from across the country will be selected each year to take part, with the first 6 having already begun their training. Those who are successful in their application will be employed by official Ferrari and Maserati dealers and will receive both on-the-job and classroom training, delivered by ReMit, the largest training provider in the motor retail industry. Successful applicants will become fully qualified technicians, with specialist product knowledge for the franchised dealer network. The apprenticeship will also lead to a recognised IMI qualification, factory-backed training and above all experience that will open doors in the industry.
Anyone interested in applying for the Apprenticeship Programme, or seeking more information should visit ReMit or phone 0800 587 6042. Applicants must be aged between 16 and 25 years old.
