Supporting National Apprenticeship Week: Alderwood's Annual Awards for the training industry's top employees

Thursday, 02 February 2012 19:22

Pens
National Apprenticeship Week is approaching and will provide an opportunity to champion both excellent Apprentices and inspiring employers. At Alderwood, we want to take this opportunity to also celebrate the integral role of those working within the training industry. After all, it is those involved in the delivery of Apprenticeship schemes who make the up-skilling of individuals and the Government's targets for Apprenticeships a reality.

Following an overwhelming response in 2011, this year Alderwood will be presenting awards in the following categories:

  • Apprenticeship Assessor of the year

  • Apprenticeship Line Manager / Supervisor of the year

We would like you to nominate anyone who you think is worthy of one of these titles. Nominees may have gone above and beyond the remit of their role, have a truly inspirational story to tell about their work with learners or employers, or simply be excellent at what they do. We welcome nominations from individuals themselves, as well as colleagues, employers or learners who wish to nominate others for an award.

All you need to do is to complete a brief application form via the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GHKF89D or email your contact details, the person you would like to nominate and a brief description of why they deserve to win to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Entries will be judged by a panel, including leading figures from the training industry, Alderwood's Work-Based Learning team and Alderwood's Non-Executive Director, Lord Jim Knight. The winners will receive a £250 voucher for a high street store of their choice, with additional awards for the three 'runners-up' in each category. Last date for entries is Friday 10th February, with winners announced by Friday 17th February.

Alderwood is a UK-wide recruitment expert operating across the Work-Based Learning, Welfare to Work & Education sectors
