FE News talks to Martin Doel, chief executive of the Association of Colleges (AoC), to discuss 'Re-thinking Apprenticeships', a collection of essays about Apprenticeships to stimulate debate about their future. Martin discusses the German 'Meister' Apprenticeship model as an idea for Level 3 Apprenticeships and beyond.
He explains that this system provides an interesting example for Apprenticeships up to Masters level, adding that it could transform HE training in the work place.
