YPLA chief executive Peter Lauener discusses funding and how provision for 14-19 year old learning is likely to change between now and 2015.
"Funding will follow the choices that learners make," explains Mr Lauener.
The YPLA will also give a guaranteed incentive to providers. If a school or college has 500 or 1000 funded learners in Year 1 they will receive the same provision, guaranteed, for this volume of learners in the following year.
However, the guaranteed provision of numbers of learners may not mean that this will be the same as monetary level of funding for year 1 provision, compared to year 2.
