After last year’s successful examiner recruitment campaign, the National Assessment Agency has launched ‘Behind every paper, there’s a student’, an new campaign for 2005. In conjunction with the AQA, Edexcel and OCR, the NAA has launched the campaign with the aim of recruiting new examiners and markers for the 2005 exams and tests.

According to Mick Walker, the NAA’s Director for Exam Management, “the extra examiners who were recruited last year helped to ensure that the exam results were delivered accurately and on time to over a million students.” The current examination system needs over 65,000 examiners each year and Walker says that the NAA is aiming to build on what was achieved in 2004.
