> Make Your Mark has launched an ideas competition for sixth forms and further education colleges in the UK!

Ideas MashUp Competition challenges young people in colleges to come up with exciting new ideas by mashing existing ones together! Using the Ideas MashUp toolkit tutors will be able to facilitate workshops designed to help students generate ideas and think about how to turn them into reality.

Students must then produce a 60 second video pitch bringing their idea to life! If you haven’t got the time to run a workshop, but would like your students to take part don’t panic! On 6 March the top ten ideas in each category will be announced and their videos subject to a public vote on the website. On 13 March the ten ideas with the most votes in each category will be announced and will go forward to the National final! Students will have the chance to win the top prize in each category of £2000!!! Runners up will each win £150!!!
