![]() Having refined his writing skills on City College’s NCTJ magazine journalism course, Danny Hogan went on to work for local publishers Pen Press, who, having seen an early draft of Killer Tease, were so impressed that they decided to set up the imprint ‘Pulp Press’ to publish Danny’s book and further pulp genre titles. Danny says: "Studying at City College really helped me to hone my style, take a more professional approach and also write and edit to a consistently high standard. I think the timing of reviving the ‘pulp’ genre has turned out to be perfect for these cash-strapped times because people are going out less and getting immersed in a classic page-turner is cheap home entertainment at its best!" Jan Goodey, Danny’s former tutor on City College’s NCTJ magazine journalism course, says: "I’m not surprised to see how enterprising and successful Danny has been since finishing the course. He showed enormous flair as a writer and also had a strong individualism that suggested that he’d make his creative mark in a very distinctive way." Killer Tease is available from Amazon, Waterstones and all good bookshops.
