Exciting new partnership as Bracknell and Wokingham College joins Activate Learning

Bracknell & Wokingham College and Activate Learning have announced plans for an exciting new partnership between their colleges and are now asking the public for their views.

Sally Dicketts CBE, CEO Activate Learning and Campbell Christie CBE, Principal and CEO Bracknell & Wokingham College announced today details of the proposal for Bracknell & Wokingham College to become a member of Activate Learning, alongside Reading College, City of Oxford College and Banbury and Bicester College.

In a joint statement Sally Dicketts and Campbell Christie said:

“This exciting new partnership will provide students, staff and employers in the area with new opportunities and choices, giving access to growth and development opportunities made possible by being part of a larger group with national influence.

“By joining forces we intend to harness the strengths of our two organisations, bringing together four successful colleges in Berkshire and Oxfordshire, working together for the benefit of local learners and businesses.

“Having the support and backing of the communities we serve is important to us. We would be delighted if you would read through the plans we have published and let us know your thoughts.”

Comments can be submitted through an online feedback form from today until 27 April 2018.

A report summarising the results of the consultation will be published by 31 May 2018.
