John Hayes, Skills Minister - discusses 'light touch' regulation in FE and Skills

Saturday, 17 July 2010 12:00 Hayesvid2John Hayes, Minister of State for Further Education, Skills and Lifelong Learning, speaks exclusively to FE News about a  new light touch approach to regulation in Further Education and Skills, that will trust providers more to deliver. Only high quality training and delivery will survive within the 'light touch' approach, with poor training provision being stamped out.

Mr Hayes also discusses pre-apprenticeships, progession routes or ladders and the extension of Function Skills and Key Skills delivery to March 2011.
