Our Experience

FE News has been filming conferences since 2008. The FE News team are experienced at shooting video features, interviews with keynote speakers (from ministers to industry experts), event coverage, and audience responses at conferences and seminars across the FE sector. We regularly shoot and edit on site across the UK and have also covered international education conferences (such as WorldSkills in Calgary and London).

FE News is the largest online news site for the Further Education, Skills and Welfare to Work sectors. The site regularly attracts more than 225,000 visitor sessions per month.

We have been shooting and editing on site at education conferences for several years, and during this time we have learned what works. From arranging a filming schedule, length of videos, interview content, and advertising slots on video coverage, through to speedy high definition video uploads. We specialise in providing highlights from education conferences and the main speakers. This can be used to raise awareness of your conference across the sector and media, and help you promote your next conference (to visitors, main speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, etc).

About our packages

FE News can provide a bespoke video service to suit your conference, audience and budget. We have also put together some packages to help you understand some of your video coverage options:

Diamond FE Video Coverage:

1 Day Conference Package

• Summary Highlight Video.
• View from the Crowd video (vox pop style interviews from the audience, exhibitors and main speakers).
• Up to 8-10 interviews per day with the main speakers from the conference (each video is a 3 minute summary of their key address).
• Upload to FE News, YouTube, dedicated video coverage page of your event on FE News, and tweet coverage of your videos.
• Bespoke advertisement on the front and back of the video coverage (opening and closing video advertisements).
• £1,300 + vat per day of the conference, plus travel expenses.
• 2-3 person crew. Filming and editing on site.
• Opening and closing advertisements to be produced from images and text provided by the client.
• Advertisements to be produced prior to the event.

2 Day Conference Package

• 2 x Summary Highlight Video (Day 1 highlight video to be provided for the morning of the second day of the conference, so it can be shown on the big screen at the event).
• View from the Crowd video (vox pop style interviews from the audience, exhibitors and main speakers).
• Up to 8-10 interviews per day with the main speakers from the conference (each video is a 3 minute summary of their address).
• Upload to FE News, YouTube, dedicated video coverage page of your event on FE News, and tweet coverage of your videos.
• Bespoke advertisement on the front and back of the video coverage (opening and closing video advertisements).
• £2,000 + vat per two day conference, plus travel expenses (mileage + hotels for the crew).
• 2-3 person crew. Filming and editing on site.
• Opening and closing advertisements to be produced from images and text provided by the client. Advertisements to be produced prior to the event.
• If any bespoke video is required for the advertisement this will need to be shot and edited prior to the event. £500 + vat per day, plus any travel expenses (mileage or train fare, plus any hotels, etc)
