Durham University recently (27 Mar) published research on grammar schools and on the attainment of pupils at selective schools comparative to non-selective schools. Amongst its key points, the report "Grammar schools in England: a new analysis of social segregation and academic outcomes", claims that social mobility is hampered by grammar schools.
