South Eastern Regional College (SERC) is celebrating the success of their science students at the BT Young Scientist of the Year 2020 competition which took place in Dublin recently. The College scooped three wins including a First Place, Highly Commended and Northern Ireland Best Project, for the second year in a row.
Michael Saunders, a Member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee was in Northern Ireland on Wednesday 15 January to speak to business leaders about the economy and the Bank of England's Monetary Policy. The breakfast session, held at South Eastern Regional College's SPACE Campus in Bangor, was attended by business leaders from a range of sectors including start-ups and included students from the College’s Entrepreneur Club and student enterprises.
South Eastern Regional College (SERC) is spearheading a new initiative, in conjunction with industry, to help address challenges within the hospitality sector as well as promoting the vibrant and rewarding career opportunities for young people. Taking Hospitality to New Heights will launch on 28 January, 12.00pm – 2.30pm at SERC’s Space Campus, Castle Park Road, Bangor BT20 4TD.
