    • Ofsted continues to play a very important part in the further education and skills system. Inspection can be a major 'make or break' event. Understanding how Ofsted looks at things, its latest thinking, and where its concerns lie, is important for all of us.

Chaired by AELP’s Paul Warner, we will hear from Paul Joyce, Deputy Director for Further Education and Skills, Mark Dawe, AELP’s Chief Executive as well as Danny Taylor from Smart Apprentices.

There will be three workshops to attend over the day. Each workshop will include key messages in the annual report, expectations, what inspection tells us and emerging issues/concerns, such as: access to education and training for young people yet to reach level 2, End Point Assessment, English and mathematics expectations, standards, meeting identified/emerging skills gaps, progression through and completion of apprenticeships. Delegates will be automatically allocated a place onto each workshop.

AELP Member Rate: £160.00 + VAT

      Non-Member Rate: £260.00 + VAT
