  • Technology in Education and Training continues to advance and there are many new opportunities for the Further Education sector to embrace and harness with a real opportunity to have a coherent end to end technology solution for the delivery of high quality education and training.

Through the successful implementation of these new technologies, AELP believes employment and learning providers can make great strides in:

    • Delivering programmes more effectively
    • Raising standards and achievements
    • Improving their profile and reputation with employer organisations
    • Securing a competitive advantage over other providers

Chaired by Bob Harrison, Ufi Trust or Chris Baumann, Aktrion Group, the conferences will focus on the entire range of digital solutions concentrating on “joined up” solutions together with how organisations might implement them and how smaller, independent providers might form consortia to manage their implementation and cost share.

With an opening message from AELP’s CEO Mark Dawe, our speakers and workshop facilitators are from a wide range of supporting organisations including; AlphaPlus, One File, Qube, GetMyFirstJob, AELP, Aktrion Group, Jisc, Assessment Tomorrow, CANVAS, Digital Assessment and PROCTOREXAM.

Workshop topics include: remote invigilation, using technology in end point assessment, the value of CRM systems linked to learning and assessment, using learning platforms for remote/blended delivery, making best use of BYOD, A digital strategy for small/medium providers.

    Why you should attend?

We recognise that the sheer scale of new technology services, digital solutions and web-based tools can be daunting for providers. Selecting the right product, and implementing it effectively, is undeniably difficult.

Through presentations; a choice of 6 workshop topics, case studies, exhibitor technology showcases and networking opportunities, delegates will leave the conferences with:

    • An in-depth understanding of available technology and digital solutions
    • A clear view on the elements of their business and delivery model that could benefit most from new technologies
    • An improved ability to develop a clear road map to become more effective and improve standards
    • A ready-made network of expert technology providers
    • Access to a range of AELP support services and networks
