  • Overview

This webinar will provide an introduction to ESFA’s new approach to oversight of ITPs.  We know that the majority of ITPs provide education and training that meets or exceeds the ESFA's requirements, but in some cases, delivery falls short of their requirements resulting in learners being disadvantaged and public funds being wasted.  The new approach seeks to identify issues sooner and share ESFA's concerns with providers so that actions can be taken to avoid failure where possible.

    Objectives

    This webinar will:

    • set out the rationale for ESFA’s new approach and the key measures being introduced
    • explain ESFA’s risk-based approach to contract management
    • describe the role of ESFA contract managers
    • explain how contract provisions will be used by ESFA contract managers
    • set out expectations of providers
