Salary: £22,934 – £24,909 gross per annum pro-rata

The Role

The new Marketing Directorate at Blackburn College is driving growth through the delivery of a new transformative marketing strategy focusing on recruitment, relationships and reputation. We will deliver a new annual omni-channel campaign structure across further, higher, apprenticeship and adult markets delivering exceptional experiences for our prospective students.

­­­­­­­Responsible to the Recruitment Engagement and Events Manager you will support the delivery of the college’s external engagement with local schools, colleges and the wider community by coordinating and supporting all on and offline events, activities, exhibitions and conferences across college, including leading the organisation of large events such as the Graduation Ceremony.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a Degree, or equivalent qualification, or work experience in a relevant area you will have experience in developing, planning and delivering large scale events and of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

You must also have evidence of a Level 2 Qualification in both Maths and English and have strong IT and communication skills. You should also have excellent organisation skills with attention to detail and ability to create exception experiences for service users.

The successful candidate can choose whether they wish to work 18.5 hours across a minimum of 3 days full year or 22 hours per week across 4 days – 38 weeks per year term time only.
