SUMMARY:How to Practically Implement the New 2026-27 Apprenticeship Funding Rules
DESCRIPTION:2026-2027 is a critical year for apprenticeship delivery as the sector undergoes significant change\, including the implementation of new co-investment and levy rules\, development of Apprenticeship Units\, more Foundation Apprenticeships and the not inconsequential assessment reforms.\n\nIn March 2026 we will receive the draft Apprenticeship funding rules for 2026/27 with the implementation version due in May.\n\nThis is a critical year for apprenticeship delivery as the sector undergoes significant change including the implementation of new co-investment and levy rules\, development of Apprenticeship Units\, more Foundation Apprenticeships and the not inconsequential assessment reforms.\n\nJoin us for our annual business-critical webinar series – to help you plan for the changes and understand the practical actions you will need to take across your organisation.\n\nAs we have done in every year we’ve run this series\, we’ll have done a lot of thinking for you.\n\nUsing the stages of the learner journey\, this 3-part webinar series will walk through the updates\, what it means operationally for different teams along the way\, where new risks might arise and practical ways you can mitigate them and is a must attend for leaders as well as compliance teams who want to develop best practices at the earliest opportunity.\n\nWe’ll also give you a detailed “Changes Action Plan”\, setting out all the key changes and actions you need to take across different teams\, along with tools including a 26/27 Recognition of Prior Learning calculator and Off-the-job planning calculation tool.\n\nYou will receive an attendance certificate after the series\, as evidence of your personal development.\n\nSession 1 – Laying the ground (24 April 2026 – 9.00-10.00am) Free to the sector.*\n*note change of date\n\nAfter the initial draft in March we’ll go through the headline areas of change and reflect on the implementation challenges and risks and prepare the groundwork for change.\n\n 	Break down each of the core funding rule changes\n\n\n 	Explore the impact for independent providers\, universities\, colleges\, and employer providers\n\n\n 	Identify key risks across your organisation\n\nSession 2 – Detailed implementation (17 June 10.00am-1.00pm)\n\nHaving considered the first full version of the rules this session will get in depth into action planning and developing models of best practice.
