Helen Armitage – A Senior Employability Adviser for the College of Social Sciences and Arts at Sheffield Hallam University. Helen leads on the Hallam Career Mentoring Scheme and primarily supports the department of Art and Design with in-curriculum careers delivery.

Chris Webb – An Employability Adviser at Sheffield Hallam University, Chris supports the Gradvantage programme for final year students and graduates, as well as collaborating with the College of Business, Technology and Engineering on in-curriculum careers delivery.

 

Our Guest:

Helen JanotaA Careers  and Labour Market Information Consultant and Trainer, Helen is also a Registered Career Development Professional with the Career Development Institute (CDI) and Member of the Careers Writers Association (CWA).  Her experience includes CPD training for careers, education and employability practitioners, including co-delivering the CDI’s Insight into LMI workshops; consultancy around the role of careers information within CEIAG provision; and developing high quality information and publications around careers and the world of work for young people and job seekers.

Charlie Ball An expert on graduate employment for the past two decades, Charlie is Head of Higher Education Intelligence for Prospects/Jisc, a member of Research Advisory Committees for AGCAS and the ISE and of steering groups for HESA and the ONS. He is also a Fellow of the National Institute of Career Education and Counselling (NICEC) and a Visiting Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University. Charlie also writes on careers issues for mainstream and specialist press and regularly briefs journalists across the media on graduate job issues, as well as regularly delivering keynote presentations and training and development sessions for a variety of different organisations.
