Tom Bewick takes sabbatical from FAB during the General Election, Isabel Sutcliffe is standing in as acting CEO

Following the formal launch of the UK General Election campaign, the FAB Board has announced that chief executive, Tom Bewick, who is standing for political office in this election as the Brexit Party candidate in Dagenham and Rainham. Tom will be taking a sabbatical during the election campaign. 

The FAB board has agreed with Tom that for the period of the election he will stand down as CEO.

During this period, Tom’s role at FAB will be covered by Isabel Sutcliffe as acting Chief Executive.

Isabel is a former chair of FAB and has worked in senior roles for a number of awarding organisations. She has had a long career in qualifications development and quality assurance covering school, college and work-place standards-based tests and assessments. 
FAB remains a politically neutral organisation.
