We chat with Sue Husband, director of the National Apprenticeship Service, at the Apprenticeships 4 England conference about the future of Apprenticeships. She discusses the future of Apprenticeships, and how the new levy will help them become stainable, with £3 billion to be raised to also help improve quality.

According to Husband, her team understands how important SMEs are to the future of Apprenticeships, and they will ensure there is a future funding stream for them. She says ensuring Apprenticeships are sustainable is a key prioirity, and whatever the system is in the future it will be truly employer-led.

Husband also talks about Apprenticeships routes for learners, particularly with progression into higher level or degree level.
