New finance director for Oxbridge Home Learning

Specialist online learning provider, Oxbridge Home Learning, has appointed a new finance director.

Peter Lowe joins the company, based in Birmingham, with more than 20 years of experience across several industries, including technology, software, healthcare, design and consultancy.

Peter will work closely with OHL’s founder and managing director, Matt Jones, to develop and implement an ambitious business strategy that will deliver a turnover of £5.75M by 2022, from the current £2m.

Commenting on his appointment, Peter said:

“Oxbridge Home Learning has a very bright future. It is embracing exciting technologies, which puts it ahead of the traditional colleges.

“The company’s vision is focused around user experience and making sure that its students or its clients get the best possible service. I think it’s that focus on service that sets the business apart from its competitors.

“Additionally, there’s a strong culture within the company. Everyone in the business gets on well, and it’s great coming into the office and being part of that.”

Matt Jones added:

“I’m delighted that Peter has joined the business. When we first met we got on straight away and he has fantastic experience with technology companies. Oxbridge Home Learning is on the verge of achieving great things and I have no doubt Peter’s contribution, advice and expertise will be invaluable.”

Established just three years ago, Oxbridge Home Learning provides accredited courses that grant people time, freedom and flexibility to mould their future through education. OHL works with 15 recognised awarding bodies, offering over 200 courses from GCSEs and A-Levels to professional qualifications for teaching assistants, nursery nurses and bookkeepers.
