We are proud to be recruiting for an Employment Advisor for the Restart scheme on a full time, permanent position based in their office in Walthamstow. The main aim of this role is supporting unemployed people from job centres into employment, the participants will have a number of reasons to why they have been either long term or short term unemployed therefore experience in the Welfare to work sector would be beneficial as this is a targeted role – 8 to 10 job outcomes per month.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Employment Advisor – Restart, you will be responsible to:
* Support unemployed people from job centres into employment
* Ensure to reach and exceed KPI’s all the time
* Deliver various assessments to the learners by using suitable materials that meets the learners’ needs and goals
* Help learners to overcome unemployment by using various strategies that will help them progress
* Guide and support the learners in all aspects such as interview preparation, job matching and many more
* Understand the local labour market to find suitable jobs for the learners
* Use digital media such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Email for marketing purposes
Experience and Skills:
As an Employment Advisor – Restart , you will need the following to be successful:
* Prior knowledge of local labour market in specified locations
* GCSE or Maths and English at Grade C and above or equivalent
* Experience in delivering services to meet quality and contractual standards
* Basic self-employment knowledge
* IT literate in using Microsoft Office such as 365 products and other digital technologies
* Knowledge in employability and recruitment industries would be desirable
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Driving license would be desirable
* Innovative, confident and competent
