Job Title: FLT Technician Trainer / Assessor (Engines / Electrics / Hydraulics)

Location: Wiltshire – Face to Face delivery

Salary: up to £35,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Type: Full time and permanent


Our client can support the successful candidate through the Assessors award and PTLLS/AET teaching qualification if this is required.

Must hold strong occupational competency in the Technical engineering side of FLT such as; Engines, Hydraulics and Electrics – specifically repair and maintenance.
Ideally hold an Assessors award; D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA – not essential
Ideally hold PTLLS qualification or equivalent – not essential
Confident with the delivery/embedding of Functional Skills English and Maths to level 2.
Confident to deliver or have experience of delivering training to groups of learners.
Duties include:

Plan and deliver group based engaging training sessions to Apprentices undertaking an FLT Engineer Technician Apprenticeship Standard at Level 3.
Embed and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English as required.
Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
