Intro:

S Knights recruitment are currently recruiting for a Freelance Employability Tutor. This is for a client that is well established within the employability sector and has over 25 years’ experience providing people with life changing support and skills. This is a temporary freelance role that is based in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a candidate who is currently an employability tutor or has experience delivering employability skills with vocational experience in Retail and Customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Freelance Employability Tutor, you will be responsible to:

* Delivering core courses to support learners in developing their Employability and Personal Social Development skills, aiming to move them closer to the local labour market
* Ensuring initial assessments and information and advice provided to learners is robust, supporting individual learners with their needs
* Deliver innovative, engaging, and motivating training sessions, developing learners’ skills, knowledge, and behaviours
* Make sure to complete the paper works in a timely manner
* Monitor and record the progress of the learners daily

Experience and Skills:

As a Freelance Employability Tutor, you will need the following to be successful:

* Teaching qualification PTTLS, DTTLS, CTTLS, or equivalent
* An assessors qualification is desirable
* Experience in delivering employability skills with vocational experience in Retail and Customer service
* Ability to work as part of a team, but also motivated to achieve individual KPIs and goals
* Passionate, confident, and enthusiastic individual
