Job Title: Hospitality Trainer/Assessor

*Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity*

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 4 Assessor Coach qualification.

Location: London – Home/remote based

Salary: £28,800 – £32,100 (Including location allowance) – Salary dependent on qualifications

Our client is happy to consider non qualified Assessors, who posses solid experience as a Chef, and ideally some exposure to learning and development.

Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessor award.

Essential Criteria:

Must hold strong occupational competency as a Chef in either a pub or restaurant.
Must have experience of food preparation, cooking and finishing across a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes.
Must hold own NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery.
Must be IT literate.
Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Duties include:
Delivering full Apprenticeship qualifications in Hospitality at level 2 and 3 (Standards), specialising in Back of House: Production Chef and Commis Chef.
Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face to face learning).
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
