Job Title: Hospitality Trainer/Assessor – Hotels (Trainee or Qualified)

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training

Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel throughout London and Surrey

Salary: £31,200 – £33,100 (Inclusive of location uplift) – Depending on qualifications

Essential Criteria:

– Must have experience of working within a Hotel setting at Supervisory level or above (Food and Beverage Manager, Housekeeping or Reception etc.)
– Ideally have experience of working Back of House within a Restaurant setting, though this is not essential. 
– Ideally hold a NVQ Level 2 or above in Hospitality (for example: Food and Beverage, Food Production, Reception, Housekeeping or Team Leading).
– Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

– Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality Levels 2/3 to include: Front of House, Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, Reservations and Reception, plus any other front of house related qualifications. Delivery of Back of House related qualifications depending on competency.
– Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
– Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
