Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain a network of relationships with a wide variety of organisations across the West Midlands. Your work will be crucial in supporting their business growth strategy and ensuring high-quality operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy with full geographical coverage.
Represent our client at external meetings, conferences, and events.
Identify and create local, regional, and national partnerships.
Maintain effective communication with partners to ensure alignment with business plans and strategies.
Collaborate with business development and operational teams to develop sustainable partnerships for bids, proposals, and growth opportunities.
Facilitate the co-design of new proposals with stakeholders.
Support post-tender negotiations and implementation.
Develop and maintain specialist referral relationships with person-centred support services.
Engage with employers to identify new partnership opportunities.
Contribute to in-depth competitor and partnership analysis.

What We’re Looking For:

Comprehensive knowledge of the funded landscape and provision in the West Midlands region (Essential)
Willingness to undertake regular travel (Essential)
Experience working with diverse commissioners and a basic understanding of procurement processes (Essential)
Proven track record in developing strategic and operational partnerships (Essential)
Confident representation of our client in various scenarios (Essential)
Experience in business development processes, such as competitor analysis and stakeholder databases (Desirable)
Established regional contacts relevant to the role (Desirable)
Experience engaging employers in partnerships (Desirable)
Knowledge of policy contexts in employability, justice, and skills, and their impact on local and regional delivery (Desirable)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 dependent on experience
