Exciting Opportunity for Playworkers – Playworker Trainer

Are you a qualified Tutor or aspiring to embark on a career in education? Here’s a fantastic role for you! Our client, a leading provider of educational and training services dedicated to Playwork, is committed to nurturing talent and empowering professionals in their careers.

As a Playworker Trainer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Playwork professionals. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality training and support to apprentices enrolled in their playworker apprenticeship programme.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging playworker training sessions, workshops, and practical activities aligned with playworker apprenticeship standards and curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and guidance to apprentices.
Provide individualised support and mentoring, addressing learning needs or challenges during training.
Collaborate with curriculum development teams to enhance and update training materials.
Maintain high standards of quality assurance in training delivery and assessment processes.
Monitor apprentices’ progress, track milestones, and facilitate their transition into the workforce.
Build positive relationships with apprentices, employers, and stakeholders.
Complete all administrative duties in a timely manner.
Conduct workplace visits for reviews and observations, providing feedback to support learners and employers through to End Point Assessment (EPA).

Qualifications and Skills:

Recognised qualification in Playwork (Level 2) 
Previous experience as a playworker or in a similar role within childcare or education.
Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent) desired.
Assessor’s award (A1, CVA, TAQA, or equivalent) desired.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Experience in delivering training or teaching, with knowledge of apprenticeship delivery standards.
