Job Title: Quality Manager (WBL / Apprenticeships)

Location: Scotland (Remote/Home Based)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

Type: Full Time, Permanent

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private training organisation who is looking to appoint an experienced Quality and Standards Manager for Financial Services qualifications (Banking, Insurance, Mortgages, Financial Advice)

The successful candidate will contribute to and support the effective delivery and management of our client’s quality assurance and business improvement strategy.

Applicants must hold experience of working at this level within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector to apply.

Duties include:

Manage the internal and external quality assurance of the learner experience, and contribute to the implementation of an effective and achievable business improvement cycle,
focussing on a quality Learner journey and employer satisfaction.
Provide regular quality assurance across our client’s Financial Services division, as well as English and maths. Ensuring the quality assurance strategy and AO requirements are achieved.
Contribute to the annual Self-Assessment Report and support with inspections (Ofsted, SDS, ETI, Estyn) and Matrix inspections
Identify areas of improvement and drive change for success.
Support with curriculum development
Maintain knowledge on key policy developments in relation to teaching, learning and assessment (including English and maths)
Coordinate and support subcontractor/partners with quality assurance and improvement activities.

Prior experience of working as a Quality Manager within the Work Based Learning / Skills sector
Proven experience of the development, design and implementation of quality / business
improvement within the skills sector.
Must hold a teaching qualification – PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent
Must hold solid, occupational experience within Financial Services (e.g. Banking; Mortgages; Insurance; Financial Advice etc.)
Willing to undertake the IQA award if not already qualified
Ideally be a qualified Assessor and IQA (desirable)
Must hold Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent (Maths and English)
Experience of contributing towards Ofsted inspections
Experience of using Data / MI analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
