Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 DOE + £5,000 Car allowance + benefits package
Home based – with UK national travel required
About the role
As a Sector Engagement Manager at Enginuity you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships and engagements across the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Policy and Partnerships, you will leverage your extensive industry knowledge and established relationships to drive forward Enginuity and its projects, products, and services.
What you’ll be doing
You will create an innovative Partnership and Employee Engagement Strategy providing evidence of employer skills needs and advances in the sector to inform Enginuity’s business and product strategies.
You will be key in developing and maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders across the Four nations of the UK and remain up to date with applicable regulatory, industry, and Government policy. Along with establishing appropriate and representative groups of employers and key stakeholders to gather insight and support product development and research.
You will develop and maintain an understanding of the Engineering & Manufacturing landscape to ensure that Enginuity is at the forefront of identifying and understanding future skills needs, being the skills pioneer and driving the debate on new technologies so that Enginuity is recognised as the approachable expert.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the skills, development and qualification needs of the engineering and manufacturing sectors. You will have an understanding of the educational landscape, apprenticeships policy and funding.
You will have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans and experience of leading and managing a team.
You will have a successful track record of building and maintaining productive and successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. With the ability to engage, influence and contribute confidently during meetings and at events
Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role
Experience of working with within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector
Ability to scan the technology landscape and understand the impact on skills
