Tree surgeon and Instructor

Full Time, Permanent

36 hours, 52 weeks per year

Enfield, with travel to all centers

£37,952pa inclusive of London Weighting. Salary based on Teaching and Learning grade

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tree Surgeon and Instructor

The successful candidate will join a vibrant, creative, and supportive team, with a shared passion and vision in making a positive impact to the lives of students of all ages and backgrounds. Having taught previously in Further education would be desirable but is not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry or similar/higher, be comfortable teaching topics at to a variety of different course levels including but not limited to Tree Felling, Climbing and Rescue, Practical Tree Work Skills, including Pruning and Rigging, Tree Identification and be able to support students with assignments and research. Additionally, they will have experience working within the Arboriculture and Forestry Industry to provide up to date knowledge and capabilities to the learners.

You will supported to become a NPTC assessor and LANRA instructor and keep up to date with latest climbing and rigging techniques.
