We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Tutor in Employability based in Nottingham on a full time permanent contract.
Our client is one of East Midlands’ leading training providers, they have supported thousands of learners achieve qualifications in an industry they feel passionate about as they offer a wide range of courses to choose from and even have a designated team that supports them for life after training.
We are looking for individuals who have previously delivered employability courses to unemployed adults and deliver the programmes face to face in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering:
Employability
Construction
IT user
Warehouse
Job Responsibilities
Deliver impactful employability courses specifically in construction, warehousing and Digital Skills.
Ensure your learning techniques are supporting students at all levels to gain knowledge and skills in group sessions and in 1-1 meetings.
Equip learners with information on how they can utilise their newly learnt skills into employment.
Evaluate learner advancement, furnish feedback, and deliver personalised assistance as needed.
Execute administrative duties pertinent to the role.
Ensure deadlines are being met and all assignments are being submitted in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills
Hold a teaching qualification such as a PTLLS, DTLLS, CTLLS, or equivalent
Experience delivering Employability courses on Construction, Digital skills or Warehouse
An assessing qualification such as CAVA, TAQA is desirable
Experience teaching in a classroom-based environment to learners with multiple barriers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be willing to travel within East Midlands
