Local company O’Halloran & O’Brien donated five brand-new HP Chromebooks to North Kent College (@NKCollege1) with the intention of supporting learners during the pandemic.

Performing and Production Digital Arts Facility gets the go ahead at North Kent College

North Kent College (@NKCollege1) welcomed the news that funding from the government’s Getting Building Fund (GBF) was approved for six more projects in the county late last year. Among the projects approved was North Kent College’s ‘Performing and Production Digital Arts Facility’ at their Oakfield Lane campus in Dartford, Kent.

In a complex education administration transaction involving a number of different parties, Hadlow College, including Princess Christian Farm and the equestrian centre in Greenwich, and the Tonbridge campus of West Kent and Ashford College (WKAC) have been transferred to NKC, including all students and the education-related facilities of the two colleges.

North Kent College traveling the distance to raise money for those in need

Over the last few years some @NKCollege1 students have been sponsored to travel to Cape Town, Africa with Mellon Educate to help with the construction of a new school. However, this year will be a little different due to Covid-19, our staff and students are unable to attend and with this in mind we had to find another way of supporting this great cause.
