Vodafone launches schools.connected emergency package to tackle digital divide

#DigitalPoverty - @VODAFONEUK GIVES FREE CONNECTIVITY TO 250,000 SCHOOL CHILDREN THIS WINTER SO THEY CAN KEEP CONNECTING AND LEARNING AT HOME  Today (19 Nov), Vodafone UK announced it is giving free connectivity to 250,000 children across the UK to help them access school work from home, catch up on lost learning during school holidays and continue with their education if they are required to isolate. The Vodafone schools.connected support – in the form of data SIMs – is available to primary and secondary school children in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.  

Bridging the education gap, new 'Connected Education' pilot launches in Newbury school

@VodafoneUK today (20 Oct) announced trials of ‘Connected Education’, a new suite of digital services for teachers and pupils. It includes tablet devices for teachers and children, mobile Wi-Fi connectivity, advanced-grade security and technology consultancy for educators.


New research from Vodafone and Trajectory suggests people across the UK feel more positively towards technology now than before the pandemic, with the oldest age group surveyed (aged 72+) reporting the biggest increase of almost 20%. 

UK employees miss office banter and adult conversations as working from home becomes the norm

New research* from @VodafoneUK has proven just how much we value time spent with colleagues with over forty percent of workers claiming they miss office banter (41%) and spending time with their workmates (40%) the most as working from home becomes the new norm.

Vodafone launches #ChangeTheFace initiative
