Exeter College announces new Chair of the Corporation

Exeter College (@ExeterCollege) is delighted to announce the appointment of Bindu Arjoon as the College’s new Chair of the Corporation which commenced on 1 August 2021. This change comes as David Allen OBE retires from his eight-year tenure with the College, having served the Board of Governors since 2013.

Oxbridge Application Success for Exeter College Students

@ExeterCollege students are celebrating as 20 learners have been offered places to study with the internationally renowned @UniofOxford and @Cambridge_Uni    Places at the Oxbridge universities, as they are commonly known, are incredibly sought-after, with a rigorous application and interview process required to get in to study at one of the leading universities in the world.   This year, record numbers of Exeter College students applied for places at the universities, and now 20 students are celebrating their hard work paying off with offers to study a range of subjects, from Medicine and Chemistry through to Classics and Geography. The breadth of subjects students hold offers to study with Oxbridge reflects the broad curriculum available for learners with Exeter College.

Viral Facebook post sees Exeter College students flooded with donations for neonatal charity

A group of charity-minded @ExeterCollege students have been inundated with knitted clothing after a post asking for @BlissCharity donations went viral on @Facebook  A tutor group of Health and Social Care students have been collecting various knitted items for distribution to neonatal units around the country to help keep babies that are premature or with additional needs to stay warm in the days after birth.
