For National Careers Week, @IFATEched spoke to James Ennis, who is a member of the Institute’s construction route panel. Our route panels consist of employers who are experts in their industry. Their role is to review apprenticeship standards and technical qualifications so that they meet both employers’ and learners’ needs.
The timeline has been extended for the transition of the external quality assurance (EQA) for end point assessment organisations (EPAOs) from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (@IFAteched) to Ofqual (@ofqual).
Earlier this month, we published our first revisions status report. This report details the apprenticeships that are currently being revised, why they are being revised and what stage they are at. Where available, it includes links to agreed revised versions of occupational standards and end-point assessment plans and details of any notice periods before revised versions will replace current versions for new starts.
