Cardiff and Vale College has decided to expand its boundaries when it comes to its portfolio of Sport Academies and become an all-rounder, teaming up with Glamorgan Cricket to launch a new Education and Cricket Academy.

Level 3 Fashion students from Cardiff and Vale College recently had the opportunity to work with fashion consultant, author and TV presenter Gok Wan on his recent show in Cardiff.

Cardiff and Vale College’s Netball Academy has hit the ground running in its third year, with players being selected for Wales, Cardiff and Vale County and for Netball Superleague team the Celtic Dragons.

Five of Wales’ most highly-skilled chefs helped young people from Cardiff and Vale College and Coleg Gwent serve up a mouth-watering meal for 80 extremely discerning hospitality industry employer diners in one of the leading catering colleges in Wales.

Cardiff and Vale College has hosted the Welsh element of the UK’s first ever BTEC Results Day – a celebration of a qualification that is an alternative to, but also equivalent to, A Levels.
