College staff and students live stream discussion on women’s safety following recent news on the murder of Sarah Everard in London @LeicesterColl
Staff and students from Leicester College have live streamed a new video call in which female members of staff and students had an open discussion about their experiences of, and thoughts on, women’s safety.
On 20 March 2020, colleges and universities across the UK were closed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. @LeicesterColl was no exception and since then, with the city of Leicester moving into new tiers and different lockdown restrictions, the College has faced a number of challenges, primarily with the changing delivery of courses but also with the way in which it communicates with existing and potential new students.
@LeicesterColl will complete major new building works at its Abbey Park Campus to support the new #TLevels programme. The refurbishment work will be funded by a successful application to the Department for Education’s T Level Capital Fund 2020-21. This will significantly improve facilities for students on the new T Levels technical study programmes starting in September 2021.
