The Independent Commission on the College of the Future (@CollegeComm) held a virtual round table @SunderlandCol attended by leading figures from across the North East.

@sunderlandcol has revealed its innovation driven success over the past year has strengthened its reputation nationally and has further supported the further education college to transform lives and provide an outstanding experience to students, ensuring they progress and achieve their life and career ambitions.  

Education leader, @EllenThinnesen, was invited to meet with the Prime Minster @BorisJohnson and members of his Cabinet during his visit to Sunderland last week, to reinforce the vital importance of skills and training.

Northumberland College has been granted planning permission for a major investment in its specialist facilities to meet the complex needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
