Four more aspiring creatives have been chosen to receive @LeedsCityColl bespoke creative grant funded by @LuminateEdGroup
The Arts Fund aims to support and inspire emerging creative talent in the region who work across any of the disciplines covered by the School of Creative Arts at Quarry Hill Campus, including music, art and film. The initiative was developed as a response to the significant lack of funding from national bodies for creative projects across the district.
The Health, Science and Social Care department at Leeds City College’s School (@leedscitycoll) of Social Science has received the Skills for Health Quality Mark Fully Endorsed status for its high quality education and training in the health sector.
@leedscitycoll will deliver a tailored healthcare cleaning operative programme, after winning the apprenticeship tender through @NHS_HealthEdEng (HEE). The college is one of five providers that has been awarded this tender nationally.
The new 15 month Level 2 apprenticeship is aimed at cleaning operatives in health and social care settings and will bridge the skills gap in the sector.
