Pimlico Plumbers head Charlie Mullins

Charlie Mullins, managing director of Pimlico Plumbers, chats with FE News at the Voice of Apprenticeships conference in London to discuss the importance of apprentices for his business and the economy.

Pimlico Plumbers employs 220 staff and 20 apprentices, generating around £20m in sales a year. According to Mr Mullins, with a new skills shortage on the horizon, apprentices who are eager to work and learn are needed  to “future proof” businesses.
