3AAA SHEFFIELD APPRENTICE, ALEX BELLIS WINS 2016 ROTHERHAM APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR AWARD!

We are delighted to announce that one of our 3aaa Sheffield Apprentices, Alex Bellis, , was honoured with the Rotherham Apprentice of the Year award for 2016 this week. The award is recognition of both Alex’s ability and work ethic during her Apprenticeship as well as the impact that she has had within the business. Alex currently works for Expert Web, a leading digital marketing agency in Rotherham

Alex has played a huge part in helping to transform the company and now manages her own department within her role of Project Manager at Expert Web. The awards were created to promote just how crucial Apprentices can be to the running of a business and how they can help take it to the next level and Alex has showed exactly this. Finalists for the award came from very different sectors across the area, ranging from education to design, showing just how diverse Apprenticeships can be.

This is a great achievement for Alex, Expert Web and our Sheffield academy as it showcases how hard work and ability is rewarded and we hope it will inspire other young people to start their very own Apprenticeship journey.

After winning the award Alex had this to say: “I am delighted to have been chosen as the winner of the 2016 Rotherham Apprentice of the Year Award. The support that I have received from 3aaa Sheffield and my employer has been fantastic throughout my time as an Apprentice and I’m still struggling to believe that my hard work has received this recognition.”

Sheffield’s Academy Manager, Eleanor James said “All of the academy staff are so proud of Alex for winning this outstanding award and it is truly deserved.  Alex is dedicated, determined and takes great pride in both her academy and work based learning which has helped to earn her this fantastic award.  It is a brilliant achievement for Alex, the Sheffield Academy and females within the IT sector. Well done Alex!’
