The Future is Bright for College’s Star Students

Results day is about more than A Levels. Waltham Forest College celebrates another great year of results.

This year, Waltham Forest College honoured the outstanding results of their BTEC Level 3 students who achieved Double and Triple Star distinctions. With so many students achieving excellent results and a high number of Level 3 courses with 100% success, the College is celebrating.

The high achievers exceeded their challenging target grades and are delighted with their success. Information Technology student, Sondas Riaz is overwhelmed with joy at achieving a Triple Distinction.

She said; ‘I didn’t know anything when I started this subject but the knowledge and skills that I have learned through this course have prepared me for my next step to Uni’.

Excited about her bright future, Sondas will complete her studies in Computer Science at Middlesex University and aims to become a Professional Programmer.

‘Learning should also be fun. It’s amazing how much you remember when it is fun’ said Lukas Pasninas, who achieved Double Distinction Star in Public Services. Lukas is one of many students continuing his journey at Waltham Forest College, joining an Access to HE course this September.

Principal, Penny Wycherley, said ‘It is always so fantastic for our staff being involved with such enthusiastic students. These students have great futures with many going on to universities in London and others directly to employment’
