Apprenticeship Funding is Changing

Local Businesses invited to find out more at

Alliance Learning Apprenticeship Reform Breakfast Event

Tuesday 18th October 8am – 10am

The government is changing the way it funds apprenticeships. From April 2017 Employers with over a £3 million pay bill will be required to contribute to a new apprenticeship levy. There will be also be general changes to potentially ask all employers for a mandatory cash contribution for the funding of apprenticeship training from May 2017.

Alliance Learning are hosting an Apprenticeship Reform Breakfast Event on Tuesday 18th October, between 8am and 10am, to help local businesses understand the changes to the current apprenticeship system and how they may be affected.

Kelly Perkin, Operations & Quality Improvement Executive from Alliance Learning commented:

“In our opinion, the proposed changes to apprenticeship funding will provide employers with much greater control over their training.

“We know from speaking to local business owners that there is still some confusion about the funding reforms.

“We want to invite all local businesses to our Apprenticeship Reform Breakfast Event where we will present the latest information about the Apprenticeship Levy and the new Trailblazer Standards, as well as hosting a question and answer session.”

Places to the Breakfast event are limited. To reserve a place telephone 01204 677871 or email [email protected].
