From education to employment

College triumph as new Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers is revealed.

Newham College of Further Education has been approved as a member of the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers. From April 2017, all employers with a wage bill of £3m or more will pay into levy which can only be used to support training with approved providers. This means that the College can now deliver apprenticeship training for employers subject to the levy. This good news followed the successful Apprenticeships Awards held by Newham College last week.

Apprenticeships Director at Newham College, Neil Coates said:

“We are delighted to have been approved to deliver apprenticeships by the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers. The College’s many years of experience and recent excellent Ofsted report have put it in a great position to start building successful relationships with employers paying the levy.”
