DBC Training Open New Centre in Derby

DBC Training, one of the leading providers of training and employment solutions in the East Midlands, continues to expand its activities with the opening of their new training centre in St Peters Churchyard in the City.

Derby County’s very own mascot ‘Rammie’ was on hand to help officially cut the ribbon and open the new centre along with Kerry Bentley, CEO, Simon O’Connell, Development Director and Corrina Hembury, Managing Director for Skills & Learning.

Rammie and the team at DBC Training welcomed visitors during breakfast along with a welcome speech from Corrina, who thanked all those attending and talked about the various projects DBC Training will be running from the new centre and how they will help local people find employment. The new centre will provide a range of opportunities including Construction, Beauty, Retail, Warehousing, Administration and Management.

Kerry Bentley said, “I am so proud of DBC and having the new training centre will really impact on local people and provide more amazing opportunities, DBC helped over 20,000 local people in the last 5 years and that is set to increase in the future.”

Simon O’Connell added “We are all passionate about providing ‘opportunities’ and it’s these types of learning experiences that enable those taking part to progress successfully to the next step of their lives, be that employment, promotion, further study, apprenticeships or business start ups”.

The new centre located in St Peter’s Churchyard and adds to DBC Training’s existing site in Nottingham. The new centre will enhance DBC’s offer and provide more opportunities to help upskill local people in and around Derby.
