Open Study College shortlisted for Further Education College of the year in the Education Awards Birmingham

West Midlands based Open Study College has been shortlisted in the finals of the prestigious Birmingham Education Awards in the Further Education College of the Year Category.

Samantha Rutter, Operations Director from Open Study College said: “We are delighted to once again be recognised for our efforts in the Further Education sector.  Our aim is that every student receives the best learning experience whilst studying with us and we pride ourselves on the quality of our courses and their delivery.  Being shortlisted amongst some very well respected peers in the FE sector is a great reward.”

Learning has changed in recent years and tutors and students are no longer confined to learning in the classroom.  Open Study College provides students with the flexibility to access high-quality course materials from any location, which makes Open Study College’s courses accessible to anyone, anywhere.

The Further Education College of the year Award is given to a college which has demonstrated how staff teaching has impacted on students and their lives, as well as going the extra mile to turn their students around to become high achievers.  The Education Awards Birmingham are in association with Birmingham City University and will culminate in a glitzy ceremony at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on 7th July 2017 hosted by Patrick Monahan.
