HE alternative providers: validation and franchise processes

DfE today (19 Oct) published research about “Alternative providers of higher education: Views of the validation and franchise process and innovation in the sector“:

• explores views of the current validation/franchise processes amongst alternative providers of HE with degree awarding powers
• explores views of those without degree awarding powers
• examines what parts of the current system work well and those that work less well
• identifies the effect of the current process on innovation
