Learning Curve Group Retain Education Business of the Year Award

Leading training and recruitment provider, Learning Curve Group (LCG), has successfully defended the prestigious ‘Education Business of the Year’ award, winning for the second year running at the EducationInvestor Awards.

The awards, hosted by Sir Anthony Seldon, a leading contemporary historian, educationalist, commentator and political author and vice-chancellor of The University of Buckingham, was held at London’s Hilton Park Lane in a glittering affair with over 150 businesses in attendance.

LCG were commended by the judges who said;

‘We were impressed with Learning Curve Group’s response to market changes, including its use of e-learning and development of the apprenticeship academy model. Learning Curve Group also deserve praise for its involvement in the underserved vocational training sector in the UK.’

‘I am absolutely delighted with this award win. To be shortlisted for two awards again this year was a huge honour, so to successfully defend the Education Business of the Year award is such a fantastic achievement. The award adds to the success LCG has enjoyed throughout 2018.

This has included securing a significant number of Apprenticeship Levy partnerships with blue chip companies following LCG’s ‘Beyond the Levy’ campaign which has proved hugely popular with levy-paying companies looking to make the most of the apprenticeship reforms. This includes a recently announced partnership with Bellway plc.Martin McCourt, former CEO of Dyson and current Chairman of Learning Curve Group, said:

‘This award is great recognition of the work that the team at Learning Curve Group deliver. Retaining the award for two consecutive years is especially pleasing and everyone at LCG should be proud of this achievement.’
