Cardiff Blues and Welsh international rugby player Sam Warburton visited Cardiff and Vale College this week to hold a Q&A session with the College’s Sport students.

The record holder for most Wales caps as captain visited the College’s Cardiff International Sport Campus (CISC) in Leckwith. He held two question and answer sessions with students.

“The facilities here are really high quality,” Sam said of CISC. “It’s great that Cardiff has such a good sports facility.”

Sam was at the College in his role as Ambassador for PAS Nutrition, accompanying PAS founder and WRU National Team Nutritionist Jon Williams. Jon, who was also consultant nutritionist to the British and Irish Lions on their successful 2013 Australian Tour, gave a presentation to the students on the role close attention to nutrition and supplements can play in developing and honing sporting ability and fitness.

Simply Fresh, the shop at the College’s City Centre Campus on Dumballs Road, will stock a range of batch screened PAS Nutrition products.
